Williamston, MI – Bekum America Corporation is proud to announce the selection of Dan Brink as the new instructor to its award-winning apprenticeship program. In his role, Brink will guide apprentices through Bekum’s technical training, helping them to develop essential skills for careers in manufacturing and machining.
“We are thrilled to welcome Dan Brink to our team,” said Steve London, President and Chief Operating Officer at Bekum America. “With his extensive experience as a Journeyman Machinist and Mechanical Designer, Dan is uniquely positioned to inspire and mentor our apprentices, ensuring they acquire the skills necessary to excel in the industry.”
Brink brings over four decades of technical and industrial experience to Bekum America. His career spans roles such as journeyman machinist and floor leader at the Olofsson Corporation, project engineer and program manager in automotive manufacturing, and most recently, application and sales engineer at Eckhart in Lansing. Brink’s diverse professional background encompasses machining, CNC programming, and project management across various manufacturing sectors.

Bekum America’s Apprenticeship Program, established in 1994, combines comprehensive handson training with academic coursework at Lansing Community College, culminating in an associate degree. Over the years, the program has successfully trained numerous apprentices, with many graduates currently contributing as skilled professionals within Bekum America.
BEKUM America was established in 1979 with the mission to introduce top quality blow molding machinery, designed to produce plastic bottles, containers, and other large plastic parts in the North American marketplace, via blending German design and technology with American skill and ingenuity. Bekum’s customer base includes large multi-national customers, as well as owner/operator plastic bottle manufacturers.
