(Williamston, MI) – Bekum America Corporation broke ground on a new facility at its Williamston headquarters to kick off the 40th anniversary celebration with its employees and company and community leaders.
“This is a historic week for Bekum America,” said Steve London, COO and President of Bekum America Corporation. “The groundbreaking on our new facility was a great kick off to our 40th anniversary celebration with our dedicated employees. The Bekum team has continually been providing state of the art products for our clients, and this event is the perfect opportunity to celebrate all the individuals who complete Bekum.”
Bekum America is North America’s leading provider of blow molding technology, with two Bekum leaders inducted into the Plastics Hall of Fame. The anniversary celebration will honor the hard work and unwavering dedication the team has contributed to the plastic manufacturing industry.
The new facility will add 40,000 square feet of manufacturing and 7,400 of office space to Bekums’ existing 115,000 square foot facility. The new addition was designed by C2AE and will be built by Wieland and upon completion Bekum will be able to grow its workforce from 130 to 150 employees.
