(Williamston, MI)- Wolfgang Meyer, President and Owner of Plastics Business Consultants (PBC) has been selected as Bekum’s Independent Sales Representative for the Northeastern United States, including New England, the Mid-Atlantic States and Virginia. PBC will focus exclusively on application engineering, equipment selection and sale of extrusion blow molding machines manufactured by Bekum, a leading supplier of such equipment in North and Central America.

Prior to forming PBC, Meyer served 26 years as CEO of the U.S. operations of plastics processing equipment manufacturers Battenfeld and Kautex. In 2010, Meyer accepted the position of President at W. Mūller USA and held it for seven years, retiring at the end of 2017. Wolfgang Meyer is a member of the Plastics Pioneers Association (PPA) and currently serves as its Vice President. He is also a recipient of numerous industry awards including the University of Wisconsin Award for Educational Achievement, Society of Plastics Engineers Division Chairman and Engineer of the Year Awards, and Plastics Industry Trade Association Service Award.
