Williamston, MI – Miguel Vivas has been selected as an Independent Bekum Sales Representative for Mexico. In his new role, Vivas will support blow molding equipment sales, and the spare parts needs of Bekum customers and prospects in Mexico.
“We are excited to welcome Miguel Vivas to our international team,” said Gary Carr, Vice President of Sales for Bekum America Corporation. “Vivas’s 14 years of experience in the plastics industry will serve our clients well and we are delighted to have him represent Bekum America in Mexico.”
Miguel‘s industry experience includes ten years in blow molding. Before focusing on sales, he spent 3.5 years working in automation and test engineering. He worked as a Sales Representative in Mexico for six years and Regional Sales Manager at Bekum America Corporation for five years before founding ProPlas in 2020. Vivas graduated from Technologico de Monterrey in 2007 as a Mechatronics Engineer. He also graduated from two MBA programs: with specialization in Management and Operations in 2016, and in Finance in 2018.
