EBLOW BM307D All Electric Machine at NPE 2009

Bekum Introduces the EBLOW 307D All Electric Machine at NPE 2009
At NPE 2009, Bekum will introduce the EBLOW 307D twin station all electric blow molding machine, the latest member of Bekum’s all electric range of machinery.
The EBLOW 206D, the first Bekum all electric blow molding machine was introduced in a running demonstration at the K’ 2007 show. Since that time the electric drives and control systems have been tested and optimized at Bekum’s world headquarters in Berlin, Germany .
Subsequent in the field, around the clock production has also been carried out with outstanding results in efficiency and reliability. The EBLOW concept has been fully validated to meet Bekum’s rigorous machinery standards and the series has now been expanded to include the EBLOW 307D.
Key Technical Specifications of the EBLOW 307D:
• Maximum mold width: 350 mm
• Mold clamping force: 100 KN (11.2 U.S. tons)
• Dry cycle time: 1.8 seconds
Advantages of the EBLOW 307D include:
• A 15 % overall reduction in overall energy consumption
• Shorter cycle times with concurrent machine movements and parallel sequencing
• Smooth high precision movements with a positioning accuracy of 0,01 mm
• Clamp design with deflection-free platen system and space for optional bottom calibration
• Simple media supply with wire and cables instead of hydraulic lines
• Noise reduction with elimination of hydraulic pumps and flow noises, 68 dB maximum.
• Extended service life without use of mechanical end stops
• No oil leaks, ideal for cleanest of blow molding environments
On the performance, flexibility, and reliability side, the EBLOW 307D offers:
• Secure production from the first cycle
• High-speed production and high efficiency
• Tandem blow as an option
• Optimized bottle weight control
• Consistency in meeting tight product specifications
